Arrive to Cairo and take your time to have a rest after the flight and to explore neighbourhood. On the next day you will visit the Pyramids of Giza, the tombs of Sakkara and Dahshur, the Khafre Pyramid and the Sphinx. Take an option to have a camel ride in Giza and visit the Cairo Museum before boarding the overnight train to Aswan. Wander the city streets before an included felucca cruise on the Nile takes you to Nubian village. Visit the local school, find out about living in the countryside and have dinner together with the local family. Then in Luxor you can optionally visit to the cock-cut temples of Abu Simbel before you hit the road to the Valley of the Kings, where, for a period of nearly 500 years from the 16th to 11th century BC, the tombs for the Pharaohs and powerful nobles were constructed. Enjoy the incredibly beautiful complex of temples of Karnak, which was built during the times of the Pharaoh Ramses II and is one of the most popular objects of attraction in the world. Take an option to visit the Luxor Temple, the Mummification Museum or the Luxor Community Education Centre, which is open for G Adventures passengers to visit during their trips. The passengers are requested to bring basic, children's reading materials for the library (please check with G Adventures or contact travel consultant of FTB Latvia to find out what is needed). Then you will go to Hurghada – one of the world's top destinations by the Red Sea to stay for two nights. Enjoy snorkelling, diving and relaxation or do some shopping before you go back to Cairo. Attend the dolphin show or the water entertainment park in Hurghada.
