When arriving to Tbilisi spend the day as you like since the group activities will start only the next morning with the city excursion. Visit to the Sameba Cathedral, the Metekhi Temple and the Abanotubani district, famous with the Sulphur baths. Take a cable car to Narikala Fortress and walk at Shardeni Street with lots of souvenir and gift shops. Visit other most important sights in the city - the Sioni Cathedral and Anchiskhati basilica, and stroll through the Freedom Square to the Rustaveli Avenue that is the main street in Tbilisi. Pass the Parliament building and the tour ends at Kashveti Church.
Then head to the wine land of Kakheti. Visit to the fortified city of Sighnaghi and the Bodbe Monastery, attend the museum in Tsinandali and continue to Telavi. Have a short walk at the food market, continue to famous the Alaverdi Cathedral, the Ikalto Academy and the Shuamta monastery complex. The next day follow the Military Georgian Road, the first visit the Ananuri Fortress, and then drive up to Gergeti Trinity Church with the beautiful views of Kazbegi mountain peak and the village. The Georgian Military Road is the historical name of the route through the Caucasian Mountains - form Georgia to Russia (220 km) and it is very pictorial. Then visit to the architectural complex of Jvari, the Svetitskhoveli Cathedral and the Samtavro Convent in the old capital of Mtskheta. Continue with the visit of the Uplistsikhe, Stalin's birth place, and Museum of Gori.
In the final part of excursion go from Tbilisi to other big Georgian city, the Kutaisi. Explore the Old Town, visit to the Bagrati Temple, the historic and architectural complex of Gelati and the Motsameta Monastery. The next day drive to the Okatse Canyons, the natural monument in Village Gordi, which is deep and narrow ravine, in the vicinity of the river Okatse. Return to Tbilisi or stay in Kutaisi before the flight for one more night.
