The tour starts in Hanoi with no group activities planned on the first day. Take your time to explore the city in rickshaw or to attend the Water Puppet Theatre performance, for instance.
Visit parks and museums, go shopping or to the Ho Tay Lake Water Park if managed to come to the city a day earlier. Then have a two-day Halong Bay cruise. One of the seven natural wonders of the world – the Halong Bay is unique for its scenic beauty formed of thousands of limestone karsts and about 1600 islands of different sizes. Enjoy seafood meals during the cruise and an overnight stay on the boat. Come back to Hanoi and take a night train to the Imperial city - Hue. Visit to Imperial Citadel, Royal Tomb and Tien Mu Pagoda, as well as take an optional countryside motorbike tour. On the next day have a short transfer to Hoi An, via the Hai Van pass, enjoying the scenery. Named Faifo, the town of Hoi An once was an important trade centre with strong influence of China. Spend two nights there and take your time to learn some cooking, go for the bicycle ride or rafting experience, visit Mỹ Sơn ruins, have a rest at the beach or go shopping. Then have a short flight to Ho Chi Minh City, called the Saigon till 1975. There is a two-night stay planned in the city. Visit the Cu Chi Tunnels in the group excursion and spend rest of time on your choice. Explore the city in a cyclo tour and stop by to sample some local dishes. We recommend attending the War Remnants Museum, the Reunification Palace, the old "36 streets" quarter, as well as the Ben Thanh market.
