Discover the unique nature of Galapagos. Go snorkelling and swim together with tortoises, spot the whitetip reef sharks at the "Shark Alley" and hike Sierra Negra volcano. Start the adventure in Quito, by the flight to San Cristóbal Island to have an included downhill biking excursion, visit to Mann Beach and spot the sea lions and frigate birds. Then go snorkelling trip to Kicker Rock to search for marine life like the sea turtles, manta rays and sharks. Visit the Interpretation Centre to learn about the natural history of area in the afternoon, and travel to Floreana Island with opportunities for swimming and snorkelling on the next day, and have free afternoon in Puerto Velasco Ibarra. Take an excursion to the highlands of Floreana on the next morning and continue by boat to Isabela Island for a visit to the Wall of Tears and nearby lookout point. The Wall of Tears is 100 m long and 7 m high wall that was built as a punishment in the time period between 1946 and 1959 by the prisoners of colony of Isabela Island. Have a full day tour to Sierra Negra Volcano to see the second-largest crater in the world.
There you will visit the Giant Tortoise Breeding Centre on the way back to town and have an option for a surf lessons at the nearby beach. Then have an excursion to Las Tintoreras, otherwise known as "Shark Alley" to observe whitetip reef sharks and variety of birds. Travel to Santa Cruz Island by boat in the afternoon and have a free evening to explore the town of Puerto Ayora or go for shopping. Then visit to the highlands of Santa Cruz to see the Galapagos Giant tortoise natural habitat and lava tunnels. Take a walk to Tortuga Bay for a kayak excursion to explore mangroves in the afternoon. Then visit to Charles Darwin Research Station before transferring across Santa Cruz Island to Baltra, and fly back to Quito.
