Explore the Morocco – feel the atmosphere of antiquity while strolling on the streets of Fes Medina, take a camel ride, enjoy sunset in Sahara desert, and get charmed by the exotic Marrakesh.
The adventure starts from Casablanca, where there are no group activities planned; therefore we recommend you to arrive to the city earlier and to visit the impressive Mosque of Hassan II, to explore Casablanca's small medina, beachfront and classic examples of Art Deco architecture, for instance. On the next day visit to the town of Tangier and head to Chefchaouen – charming mountain town in the north of Morocco with culture, cuisine and language coming from North Africa, Spain, Portugal and France. Enjoy a free day in Chefchaouen on the next day, take an option to hike in the Rif Mountains and discover the secret of the Blue town. Enjoy traditional hammam or visit a local weavers' cooperative as an option. After that, hit the road to the imperial city of Meknes to have an orientation walk and visit to the Roman ruins of Volubilis. After that go to Fes that is one of the biggest "live" medieval towns and the spiritual centre of Morocco, have a guided city tour and take your time to explore it in your own pace.
On the next day travel through the cedar and pine forests, pass over the Middle Atlas Mountains along its deep gorges until you come to the spectacular Sahara Desert. Enjoy an overnight stay in a local inn on the edge of the dunes. Explore the local region and have a camel ride to your desert camp. Take a great opportunity to witness beautiful sunset and sunrise in the desert if you wake up early enough. Walk through local village farmlands and explore Todra Gorge on the next day. After that have a guided visit to the Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah and take an optional cooking class for insight on Moroccan cuisine. Transfer to Imlil before guided walk to the village of Amred at the base of the high Atlas Mountains and enjoy the views of Mt Toubkal from the mountain gîte. Then go to the coastal town of Essaouira to have orientation walk and a free time. There you can see old Portuguese port area, fortifications and centuries old medina. The last three days of the tour you will spend in Marrakech. Take your time to visit the historical Koutoubia Minaret and gardens, Bahia Palace, the Mellah and the Saadian Tombs, as well as Djemaa el Fna square and markets on your choice. The charming Marrakech surprises by colourful bazars, acrobats, fortune tellers, storytellers, and snake charmers to remind the scenes of fairy-tale movies. As this is the destination city of your tour, take a chance to experience its magic a little longer.
