Try some traditional and exotic food and snacks while visiting the capital of culinary of Japan – Osaka. Visit the pavilions of the local Universal Studios, the area named the Kita, which is famous for its museums, or the Minami to see the entertainment area Ame-mura before you hit the road. On the next day in a scenic railway tour you will go to Koya-San or the Mt. Koya – religious centre, which was founded in 816. There you will visit temples and enjoy vegetarian dinner. Travel to the notorious Hiroshima, which became the first target of an atomic bomb on 6 August 1945; however, has risen phoenix-like from the ashes, and rebuilt itself as one of the most vibrant cities of Japan. Visit a memorial park and museums there and take a short ferry ride to Miyajima Island in the afternoon to see the famous Floating Torii Gate, which perhaps is the most photographed site in Japan. Then continue on to Kyoto, the former Imperial Capital and home of the country's most treasured remnants of Japanese imperial life to visit the Nijo castle, the famous Kinaku-ji or the "Golden Pavilion" and Daisen-in's zen stone gardens. There are said to be 2,000 temples, shrines, palaces, museums and traditional gardens in Kyoto.
Then go to Hakone - the village in hills, which is located just in 100 km form Tokyo. It is famous for the traditional inns and onsen spas. Enjoy luxury service and spa treatment in the evening. Travel through the Hakone-Izu National Park, which is famous for the scenery to the Mt Fuji – the pride of Japan on the next morning. The exploration of natural treasures will continue by a cable car ride up Mt Owakudani for views of Mt Fuji and a boat trip on Lake Ashino-ko. On the next day you will go to Tokyo. The capital of Japan is one of the most modern cities in the world, where you can try the latest version of everything and the stores sell top fashion. However, look under the glossy surface to see that Tokyo is still very traditional country - ladies wear kimonos, people go to temples and enjoy blossoms of the city parks. Enjoy this unique atmosphere.
