If you are keen on adventure and documentaries about the wildlife, you will definitely enjoy this trip. Breathtakingly high sand-dunes, deep canyons, trips to Etosha, Kruger and Mtobo national parks, the roar of Victoria Fall, visiting the villages – you will experience all of this when travelling through the African countries like Botswana, Namibia, the Republic of South Africa, Zambia and Zimbabwe.
The trip will start from Cape Town, by viewing picturesque Western Cape as well as visiting the local farm and trying local wine. Optionally you can go canoeing or swimming the Orange River. Then you will go to the second largest canyon in the world – the Fish River Canyon and the Sesriem canyon in the Namibia Desert. When visiting Swakopmund and Damaraland during the trip, you can learn about the local lifestyle and culture, as well as optionally enjoy sand boarding, a dolphin watching boat cruise or even skydiving. Etosha National Park and Waterberg plateau will surprise you by the diversity of animal species and richness. Then you will visit Kalahari Desert and meet locals - San Bushmen. Lean some basic survival skills from them. Enjoy hikes in Okavango delta, boating with mokoro (scooped canoe) and bird watching. Discover the beauty of African nature during the cruise trip on Chobe River or go safari to the national park. In Livingston, Zambia we recommend you to go to Victoria Fall, which the locals call Mosi-oa-Tunya or "the smoke that thunders", or go canoeing, jungle elephant ride or observe the neighbourhood from the bird's flight. You can travel Matobo and Kruger National Parks, which are excellent to explore by car. And, of course, enjoy local meals and traditional dance performances during the trip.
